God’s HELP

I love reading scriptures that are very direct and to the point. Recently, there were several verses regarding the assurance of God’s help, that spoke to me in such a manner.

Isaiah 41:10 (NKJV), “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.”

John 14:27 (NKJV), “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”

In Isaiah 41:10, the New Living Translation says, “Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God.” God makes it personal. Your God will “strengthen you and help you”.

The whole chapter is the prophet Isaiah prophesying to God’s people Israel of the assurance of His help. Great! How does that apply to me, my circumstances, and adverse situation I’m going through. Verse four of Isaiah 41 says, “calling the generations from the beginning”.

John 15:16, “I chose you”

Isaiah 41:10, “I will uphold you with My righteous right hand”

Psalm 73:23 & Psalm 32:8, “I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go”

In so many words, it’s like He’s saying not to worry or fret, He has it all under control and He will help you. He will teach you and you’ll learn something of kingdom value that will cause a greater measure of peace and trust in getting to know Him, growing in grace, and in a deeper love.

Psalm 29:11 (NKJV), “THE LORD will give strength to His people; the Lord will bless His people with peace.”
